Kate, a neurotic American, flies to Paris to win back her fiancé, Charlie, after he leaves her for another woman. On the plane, she meets charming French thief Luc who plants a valuable necklace in her luggage for smuggling. After her bag is stolen, Kate reluctantly teams up with Luc to recover the necklace and chase after Charlie, leading to unexpected romance and self-discovery amidst the French countryside.
