Retired British intelligence veteran George Smiley is secretly brought back to find a Soviet mole – a high-ranking double agent – embedded within MI6 ("The Circus") during the Cold War. Tasked with uncovering the traitor among his former colleagues (coded as "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy"), Smiley must navigate a complex web of deceit and betrayal, piecing together clues to expose the Russian plant who has been feeding secrets to the Soviets.
